AN UNHEARD GRUMBLE OF A CLASSROOM!
AN UNHEARD GRUMBLE
OF A CLASSROOM!
I am not just a
blackboard, benches and a broken chair:
Making me elegant
cannot be quantified to be smart.
Procurement of a
resplendent projector or a digitised gadgets,
Might benefit your
contract but don’t endorse that,
Essential interact
which was instrumental to brighten,
The pupal, and
spirited them to be straightened,
With upright rage
and polite courage,
That had launched them
into an adorable stage and accorded the
internal urge!
Do not elevate me,
understand?
By keeping aside the
giver and the got,
Through schemes,
terms and fames,
I am being loaded and
invaded,
Your facilities have
robbed the treasures,
And has infused unbreathable
pressures,
Let your bureaucratic
intrusion have an unbiased vision,
In the name of
innovation, you have made me a traumatic prison!
The instructor and
the instructed are distanced:
The unpragmatic orders
do keep it unbridgeable,
I am pained to see
the agony of the learned master,
They cannot inject
values into the tender heads,
Which are supplied
notions and commotions,
By the media, and from
corrupted cinematic dilutions
And they wish to be stubborn
and decided only to be a fan,
I undergo this epiphany
to reinstate an unchained harmony!
My four walls have selfishly
been spied:
Each of my bricks has
severely been poisoned,
Multiple commercial
eyes have dulled my foresight,
Your dishonest
syllabi has freeze my resourceful blood,
My heart has become
cold as the academics is getting killed,
Now, I witness a pathetically
battling teacher,
And baffling yet
undisciplined icons of future,
To prevent the
society from spoils, I mustn’t be left to boil!
Dr. U. Mahendran.
