THE BLISS IN BLINDNESS!
THE BLISS IN BLINDNESS!
Being blind shouldn’t
be a religious curse:
A taste is conferred to
seekers under the guise of prayer and meditation,
Wherein eyes cannot be permitted
as wide-open,
You choose timebound
closing to be awakened,
In blindness the light
is outwardly darkened!
You see the objects and
believe:
The joy and beauty found
to be alive,
Like the taste led to
the befall of Adam and Eve,
Your sight has brought
devastative curse upon them,
By going after the
prettiness, the objects are accorded only emptiness!
The river became cradle
and had given civilization,
Having eyed selfish
progress, you have made them just an exhibition,
You see but go
unconcerned about its pollution
The ocean provides gigantic
economical solution,
Even that is looked as
a massive filth dumping destination!
Both the dynastic leaders
and democratic kings:
Get the trees killed to
raise an elegant palace,
Eat up the mountains to
have sophisticated built ups,
Dry up ground minerals
to have a luxurious fly across,
Worn out the breeze to tune
up life in technology!
You have made the sense
of seeing predominant:
In the enslavement of
remaining four this is eminent,
You prefer watching over
touching and be touched,
You choose taste as
being administered by eyes,
You look and become
preconceived before being spoken and heard!
The world order has
been produced out of looking and seeing:
Which has been
witnessed silently by cosmos,
To extract the
accumulated construct made in ages,
There has to be a day
of blissful blinding
To reinstate the predicted
specious and human ending!
With eyes you have historically
invaded and excluded:
Done in the name of purity,
nobility and heredity,
Several Million litters
blood you have wasted in wars,
Only less literature is
made on the internal beauty of women,
But manuscripts and
papers in huge are wasted in adoring her appearance!
May seeing be ceased to
be internally pleased:
Within the individualistic,
domestic and territorial boundaries,
By which jealous, intolerance,
inpatients be released,
For which an occasional
or eternal blindness must be rejoiced!
Lovable god and godly
love can only be felt:
At the departure of
eyelets they would disappear,
Even intimate tear and horrifying
fear would melt
When darkness being worshiped
like an invisible mother,
Restlessness pertaining
beauty and duty would go further!
I welcome you to befriend
blindness:
With ecstatic pride and
extreme mirth,
By throwing away visual
prejudice and arrogance
To prevent the existing
natural beauty in the globe,
Embrace my call as this
is the ultimate hope!
Dr. U. Mahendran.
